Simon obtained a dual degree bachelor of engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University; a master of software engineering and a doctor of materials and chemical engineering degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China; and has received a professional title of National Senior Mechanical Engineer in China. He has been committed to research of IC substrates related materials and chemical engineering works for over two decades, he managed and participated in a lot of industrial major scientific projects, from where he obtained many provincial or municipal awards. As a leading figure of scientific and technological innovation in ACCESS, he has endeavored to implement and carry out intellectual property strategy of the company and under his leadership, the company has been granted more than five hundred domestic and overseas patents.
